Description

Travel with photographer Ann O’Hagan to the ends of the earth! Ann will present a visual journey showcasing the unparalleled scenic beauty of Chile and Argentina, starting at Chile's beautiful Atacama Desert and ending in Buenos Aires, Argentina, also known as "the Paris of South America." Ann's photography captures the wilds of Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, and the breath-taking views of mountain peaks, glaciers, and fjords along the way. Her journey also traces the coastline, including the Strait of Magellan, Drake's Passage, and Cape Horn.

Ann O'Hagan is a southeast Michigan native. After thirty-five years of teaching high school, she is now directing her energies to national and world travel and the pursuit of creative photography. Ann's background includes photography and art classes at St. Mary's College in Indiana, Eastern Michigan University, and Washtenaw Community College. She has also studied with such nationally recognized photographers as Joe Englander, Larry Mitchell, and John Shaw. Ann uses photography as a means of preserving and sharing her emotional response to the visual delights of new surroundings. Travel and her love of the outdoors are the two major themes of her work.
